Audio-Video Integration can be a tricky topic to implement. Equipment needs to seamlessly talk with each other, power supply needs to be uninterruptible, and the whole system needs to be reliable and easy to access. Kramer shared three common AV integration challenges through brief case studies involving the education, restaurant, and business industries.
“We needed a solution for the wireless connectivity of the students’ portable media devices,” said Julian Stirling, Design Manager for Integration Partners Australia, the Brisbane-based pro AV integrator on the project
Sheldon College, a state-of-the-art school who boasts the latest technology infrastructure among the curricular areas of Business and Enterprise, Computer Aided Design (3D Printing, Robotics, and Engineering) Film & Television, and Online Media Production, wanted to make presenting and sharing content in the classroom easier and more efficient.
“We particularly liked the quality and responsiveness of the live video scaling, the ease of set-up and use across all device platforms, the high build quality, and general affordability,” Julian Stirling, Design Manager
“The Kramer product is easy to use and control – each piece of equipment talks to the others, making it seamless and easy to operate,” said Jim Fraser, Commercial/Professional Systems Designer for All Sound Designs
As part of a major remodeling effort, Boston’s goal and challenge was to provide customers with a crystal clear full-HD viewing experience throughout the entire restaurant. The installation, which included dozens of displays and routing equipment, had to be high end and quick. The restaurant could only close for two days for remodeling.
“We chose the Kramer product because of its performance and reliability. Also, the Kramer seven-year warranty is a huge bonus to my clients,” Jim Fraser, Commercial/Professional Systems Designer
“A board of directors holds IBX to exacting standards and any system had to work flawlessly,” said Bob Lobascio, Vice President of Sales at IMS Technology Services
IBX wanted to upgrade their 40-seat boardroom and executive conference room at their Philadelphia office with a high-quality signal distribution system. They demanded nothing less than 100 percent functionality in their new, cutting-edge boardroom and executive conference room. It was imperative to have an easy-to-use system that handles all of their needs at the touch of a button – from audio and video to lighting.
“The Kramer system makes the technology seamless. All we have to do is turn the system on and it works every time,” David Hering, Manager of Audio/Video Systems at Independence Blue Cross
