Raritan CIM’s (Computer Interface Modules) for Raritan Solutions!
The Raritan Dominion and Paragon Computer Interface Modules (CIM) connects each computer and/or device to a Raritan Matrix Switching Unit via standard single CATx (CAT5, CAT6, CAT6e, etc) cable. Raritan CIMs and Z-CIMs are available for a variety of platforms and in several form factors. Scan the following chart to find the CIM or Z-CIMs most appropriate for your application.
CIMs are an integral part of Raritan’s Paragon-centric solutions, whether connected between the Paragon or Dominion switch and servers to facilitate non-blocked server access, or connected in a chain-like Z-CIM to Z-CIM arrangement, enabling clustered access to high-density servers without the usual cable clutter. Each module connects to the keyboard, video, and mouse ports of each server, providing keyboard/mouse emulation, fail-safe server access, and Raritan Guardian technology — a “virtual” keyboard and mouse to enable “hot swapping” and simple reconfiguration of connections.
